Cervical screening

In this section

Women aged 25 to 64 years who are registered with a GP are automatically invited for cervical screening for example,

Aged 25 to 49 every 3 years

Aged 50 to 64 every 5 years

The risk of cervical cancer is very low in women who have never had sex. However, if you are currently not in a relationship but have been in the past, it is recommended that you have regular cervical screening.

If you have any questions about cervical screening speak to your GP or Practice Nurse.
